Passion for tribal peoples and different ethnicities from his origins was born during his travels, so he is currently trying to speak through his paintings and sculptures, to create art for integration. His paintings convey the emotional and affective pathos of a personal story immersed in these distant lands. The intent is to share the splendor of these peoples, the colors, the faces, the poignant expressions and the intense features, tell the sacredness and respectful austerity that these peoples attribute to life, with which they feel fused and interconnected as a single stream that flows from the blood in the veins and mystically intertwined with the rays of the scorching sun that embraces them. There is no break between what is physical and what is metaphysical. Macaluso wants her journey to be the journey of all those who observe her.
